Northern Lebanon Education Foundation Renaissance Program

The Renaissance Program has returned to Northern Lebanon Senior High School with the financial support of the Northern Lebanon Education Foundation.  This program recognizes students in grades nine through twelve who have excelled academically and complied with school rules.  To be awarded a Renaissance sticker the student must have no record of discipline referrals, tardy arrivals to school, unexcused absences, and must attain honor roll status.  The stickers are awarded each marking period.

Students with a Renaissance sticker are permitted free entrance into home sporting events.  In the fall, the students were invited to a picnic in the stadium over lunch periods.  In March, they attended a screening of the movie Simon Birch.  Mr. Skip Hicks generously offered the use of the Allen Theater for the students to watch the movie.  Students are eligible for various drawings throughout the school year.  Student Council and Sophomore Class donated free tickets for Homecoming and Sno-Ball Dances.  Dairy Queen gift cards and McDonald’s coupons also were awarded.

Our hope is to continue this program and offer different incentives throughout the school year.  We congratulate our Renaissance students and are very proud of their accomplishments.  Thank you to the Northern Lebanon Education Foundation for helping us to acknowledge our students’ achievements.
