What is the NLEF?
It is an independent, nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching the education, values, and cultural experience of the entire Northern Lebanon community by extending the current educational opportunities through innovative programs. The Foundation will do this by providing privately-donated money and talent from all segments of the community.
Is the Foundation part of the School District?
NO, it is a totally separate organization with similar goals, i.e. both work for the benefit of our students, however, the foundation's vision is to include ongoing educational experiences for all ages, not just youth.
The Challenge
Northern Lebanon has a history of success. But where do we go from here? How well will we meet the needs of a growing and changing world?
The Solution
The Northern Lebanon Education Foundation will help us meet the challenge. Though the School District does an excellent job providing basic education for our children, the Foundation goes above and beyond the basics to provide those important extras not funded by tax revenues.
Our Goal
We want to enrich the education, values and cultural experience, extending the current educational opportunities with creative and innovative programs for the entire Northern Lebanon community (youth, adults, senior citizens).
Our Method
The Foundation will promote excellence by providing financial and human resources that encourage exploration and achievement through the support of teachers, staff and community members.
Your Role
Business, industry, alumni, and all other private individuals with an interest in quality education and the future community should be committed to our cause.
